Grade 2 - Jamil Kassam Edmonton won THIRD PLACE

On July 20, Derek Thomas on behalf of the Alberta Chess Association and The Roving ChessNuts presented about $1,800 worth of travel
chess sets, tournaments sets, clocks and other items to Major Regis Bellemare. These chess supplies are going to Canadian troops
in Afghanistan for their use and for the hosting of international military tournaments at Kandahar and instruction of Afghan children.
